للمباراة الثانيه على التوالى المنتخب المصرى يفقد هويته ولم يقدم الجديد , وتعادل سلبيا مع مضيفه منتخب جزر القمر فى التصفيات المؤهله لأمم افريقيا 2021 المقرر اقامتها بالكاميرون .
على الرغم من البدايه الجيدة لمنتخب مصر اول 15 دقيقة من المباراة واستطاع الوصول لمرمى منتخب جزر القمر فى اكثر من كرة خطيرة , ابرزهم كرة اللاعب محمد كهرباء التى ارتطمت بالقائم فى الدقيقة 9 , ولكن تراجع المنتخب المصرى للخلف ليترك الفرصة لمنتخب جزر القمر بالسيطرة على المباراة وتشكيل خطورة حقيقة على مرمى محمد الشناوى والتى ظهرت فى اكثر من محاولة على مرمى المنتخب المصرى ولكن مر الشوط الاول بسلام على المنتخب المصرى .
مع بدايه الشوط الثانى بدا منتخب جزر القمر ضاغطا بقوة , واجرى المنتخب المصرى تغير بخروج مجدى افشه لاعب الوسط ودخول حسين الشحات بهدف الاستفادة من سرعته فى الهجمات المرتدة بعد ان ظهر الضغط الكبير لمنتخب جزر القمر الذى حاول فى اكثر من كرة الحصول على أخطاء او ركله جزاء بأدعاء السقوط بمنطقة الجزاء ومحاوله الضغط على الحكم الايفوارى , ولكن يستمر ضغط منتخب جزر القدم وتراجع منتخب مصر حتى تنتهى المباراة بتعادل سلبى فى الاداء والنتيجة .
بعذا التعادل استمر منتخب جزر القدم فى المركز الاول وتصدر المجموعة برصيد 5 نقاط , وصعد المنتخب المصرى مؤقتا للمركز الثانى فى انتظار نتيجة مباراة كينا ضد الكونغو .
