بعد اكثر من خمس سنوات تولى فيها المدرب ماوريسيو بوكيتينو الادارة الفنيه لفريق توتنهام الانجليزى , صعد بالفريق لمستويات رائعه ووضعة لمدة اربع سنوات ضمن الاربع مراكز الاولى فى الدورى الانجليزى , ووصوله بالفريق لنهائي دورى ابطال اوروبا وتقديم مستويات رائعه امام اكبر فرق اوروبا , قررت ادارة نادى توتنهام انهاء عمل المدرب ماوريسيو بعد سوء النتائج هذا الموسم فى الدورى الانجليزى وتواضع المستوى فى دورى ابطال اوروبا .
وقامت ادارة نادى توتنهام بتعين المدرب المخضرم جوزيه مورينيو لقيادة الفريق بعقد ممتد حتى عام 2023 , وتامل ادارة توتنهام فى المدرب الكبير العودة بالفريق لمنصات التتويج بعد 11 عام غياب عن الالقاب .
المدرب الكبير جوزيه موينيو اعتاد على التدريب فى التدورى الانجليزى حيث حيث خاض 3 فترات تدريبية مع فرق انجليزيه منها فترتان مع نادى تشيلسي الندنى , وفترة مع نادى مانشستر يونايتد , حقق خلالهم العديد من الالقاب وتتمنا جماهير وادارة نادى توتنهام ان يكرر المدرب الكبير هذه الانجازات والصعود بالفريق للامام خاصة بعد التراجع الكبير واحتلاله المركز14 فى الدورى الانجليزى مع التراجع فى دورى ابطال أوروبا .
