ويعانى جناح ليفربول محمد صلاح من اصابه قويه اصيب بها فى مباارة ليستر سيتى فى الجوله التاسعه , ومان قد خرج محمد صلاح قبل انتهاء مباراة ليفربول ضد ليسترسيتى بدقائق يشتكى من الم فى كاحل القدم بعد تدخل عنيف من اللاعب حمزة تشودرى , ولكنه تعافى واشترك فى بعض المباريات ولكن كان متؤثر بالاصابه , واثناء مباراة مانشستر سيتى الاخيرة والتى فاز بها الريدز 3-1 تجددت الاصابه قبل نهايه المباراة .
وغاب نجم المنتخب المصرى عن لقائى منتخب مصر فى تصفيات امم افريقيا بسبب خضوعة لبرنامج علاجى بدبى تحت اشراف طبيب نادى ليفربول , وعاد الى انجلترا ولكن تحوم شكوك كبيرة حاول شفائه بشكل تام , ومن المنتظر ان يخضع نجم ليفربول الى فترة اعادة تأهيل من اجل العودة بشكل اقوى .
